Yuz Flow: Project Space of Art, Land Mark South Building, Shanghai
Lee Jinju’s solo exhibition, titled
“No Ground,” is currently on view through March 2, 2025, at Yuz Flow: Project
Space of Art, a new exhibition space of the Yuz Museum in Hong Kong.
This exhibition marks the inaugural
show at Yuz Flow and is Lee Jinju’s debut solo exhibition in Hong Kong. The
show features 25 of Lee’s recent works, including pieces from her
representative series “Black Paintings” and “Shaped Canvases,” as well as the
large-scale panoramic painting 〈No Ground〉
(2024).
The exhibition title “No Ground”
reflects concepts such as inexpressible situations, the abyss, and the
ambiguity of the night. The 25 works on display visually manifest Lee Jinju’s
subjective world, transforming her personal perspective into a visual language.
The works invite viewers to pause for meditative reflection, embracing the
world in its raw and unembellished state.
