The series of works, ‘Funkchestra,’ features pop stars from various artistic genres in a square shape. Or, like ‘AIDS,’ the four-letter text conveys a sense of contemporary issues and various words are accompanied by musical elements. Among these forms, “Fire & Fury” is composed entirely of letters with repetitive patterns. There is a bold FIRE in the four corners and four FURYs on the east, west, south, and north sides of the center circle.
“Fire and Fury” is the title of a book by journalist Michael Wolff that chronicles the big stories of President Trump’s first year in office. In the center circle, the title of the song “Hate Makes the World go Round” by singer Paindonor is rhythmically expressed in various fonts to add a musical element.
