Art OnO, a new art fair in 2024 led by young collector JaeMyung Noh, who is in his 30s, will be held from April 19 to 21 at Setec in Seoul.
Like the satellite art fair ‘liste Art Fair Basel,’ which is held during the Art Basel fair in Basel, Switzerland, Art OnO aims to function as a marketplace and showcase young and promising artists. By doing so, Art O&O aims to make art fairs a new type of platform that connects artists, galleries, and collectors.
Alongside the fair, a series of interactive onsite programs will operate as a forum for exchanges of ideas and explorations of topics germane to the contemporary art scene. Among these offerings are curated special exhibitions, engaging talks, and compelling lectures that will facilitate meaningful connections for artists, galleries, and visitors. Moreover, selected museum partners will organize special visits and collateral events that enable galleries and collectors to engage more deeply and strengthen their relationships.
Art O&O will be joined by renowned galleries from around the world, representing more than 20 countries. Key participating galleries include Chantal Crousel, Paris; Esther Schipper, based in Berlin, Paris, and Seoul; Dvir Gallery, which showcases Israel-based artists; and Pearl Lam Galleries, Shanghai, Nicolas Krupp Gallery in Basel, Switzerland; Duarte Sequeira in Portugal; Peres Projects in Berlin; and ARARIO GALLERY, Gana Art, Gallery Baton, and Gallery2 in Korea.
VIP Previews will take place on April 18 (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm) and April 19-20 (11:00 am – 1:00 pm) and are open to VIP guests and press pass holders only. The Open for public will take place on April 19-20 (1:00 pm – 7:00 pm) and April 21 (11:00 am – 6:00 pm).
