Bucheon Art Bunker B39 presents the group exhibition “Liquid Politan”, featuring five Korean contemporary artists, until November 24.

The exhibition “Liquid Politan” begins with the concept of the constantly evolving modern city, ‘Liquid Politan,’ which moves beyond fixed forms in the uncertainty where boundaries blur. Based on sociologist Zygmunt Bauman's concept of ‘liquid modernity,’ the exhibition focuses on the power of visual language in this era of fluidity.

The exhibition features contemporary visual artists Yunchul Kim, Earl Park, Zoohyeong Song, YANGACHI, and Keunbyung Yook. Each artist reinterprets the present era by utilizing their unique visual language—ranging from kinetic art, robotics, media, and installations—while drawing on the artistic potential that emerges from the ruins of B39, a former incineration plant.

In a time where the unpredictable future makes it impossible to imagine the end of fluidity, B39 connects a narrative thread of objectified artistry. Through “Liquid Politan,” the exhibition offers an opportunity to reflect on the position and role of art as it drifts slowly and intricately between the artificial and the natural.
