“DMZ OPEN EXHIBITION: PASSAGE” is on view through November 16, at Paju Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri, Peace Gondola, and Gallery Greaves. “DMZ OPEN EXHIBITION: PASSAGE” is part of the ‘DMZ OPEN festival,’ which aims to spread awareness of the DMZ's ecological and peace values by utilizing the DMZ as a cultural and artistic space.

The exhibition examines the meaning of the DMZ through the concept of “passage” and expands its spatial nature, illuminating the DMZ as a closed border, a connected passageway, and a living space, rather than as a suspended or forgotten space. The 12 artists present their own work as a “passage” to help us view the DMZ in a new light.
