ASYAAF, Korea’s largest youth art festival, will be held at Hongik Museum of Art. The festival is divided into two parts, with the first running from July 25 to August 6 and the second from August 8 to August 20. The festival is co-hosted by Chosun Ilbo and Hongik University, and visitors can view and purchase artworks during the festival. The upper price limit of the artwork is set at 3 million won, and online sales of artworks and NFT artworks are also being conducted so that the barrier to entry for purchasing artworks is lowered.

ASYAAF will be an opportunity for more than 500 young artists under the age of 35 and university students of Asian nationality to exhibit and sell their works. It is categorized into two-dimensional / three-dimensional / media/ hidden artists, and the first (07.25-08.06) and second parts (07.08 – 08.20) are composed of different participating artists. The ‘Hidden Artist’ categories is different from the other categories in that it targets artists over the age of 36. Also, some of the participating artists will exhibit one additional work and sell it at a price of 100,000 won, and there will be additional events such as “artist docent tour” where you can tour the exhibition with the artist.

At ASYAAF, you can discover the works of emerging artist who have potential and enjoy the pleasure of owning their works before the art fairs Frieze Seoul and Kiaf in September.
