YPC SPACE presents "Will you still love me when I'm no longer Young and Beautiful", a solo exhibition by Rondi Park, on view through August 11.
In this exhibition, Park finds the capitalist temporality that drives our anxiety at the root of physical symptoms such as insomnia and hair loss. The exhibition imagines slowing down and diverting the passage of time, which is operated by the pressures of life, by bodily sensing its passage.

The aesthetic of cuteness that permeates Park’s work becomes a vehicle to escape the clutches of the productive life, even if it’s tender and wacky.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an exhibition-associated performance that combines readings, yoga, and a pajama party. "Thoughts before bed: A Meditation on Falling Hair," is for anyone who suffers from burnout and chronic fatigue as a result of living by the motto of hard work.

The artist offers the experience of lying down in an unlit exhibition space and having someone recite your thoughts for you. The performance schedule is every Tuesday and Friday (7/9, 7/12, 7/16, 7/19) at 8pm. To apply for the program, visit YPC SPACE's website at https://yellowpenclub.com/program/814.
