The artist densely expresses the themes of taboos and repressed desires applied to women and critical perspectives on the patriarchal tradition of Korean society through traditional painting techniques. Packed reveals through the tail of a tiger the shape of a narrow space filled with unbearable desire. The narrow size of the canvas symbolizes that Korean society’s perception of women is still narrow.
