The patterns and figures in the work are present with equal intensity in different places on the square plane, even if they are different in type. It is the principle of flatness that allows the numerous patterns in the work to become an art of detail, beyond a general arrangement. By drawing the various patterns with equal intensity in every space on the screen, the surface of the painting is in a state of force equilibrium. Whether in a visual or metaphorical sense, there is always something to see on the canvas no matter where you look, both vertically and horizontally.
