About The Work

In Blood and wine, the water seems to swallow up the mountains. ‘The water’ is the most important element to talk about ‘women’ in this work. According to the artist, many studies have been done for drawing rocks or mountains in oriental paintings (or Korean paintings), but studies for drawing water are rare. So, the artist plans to draw water and makes the water overwhelm the entire painting.
